Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Warm greetings to you and your family!!! I look forward to sharing a happy, fun-filled and fulfilling year of service.

For the coming year, I am aware of the great responsibility that will rest on my shoulders. But I will take this important assignment with confidence. Confidence, that comes from knowing that I have a strong, supportive and dedicated team of members and their families to work with me. In our quest to take our club to new levels of service and new heights of achievement, I promise to give my very best and in return, expect the best from you. Your contribution to the success of the year encompasses contributions in the fields of your respective vocations, your ideas, your efforts and your energy. I look forward to your unqualified support on all these fronts.

Let us also strive to spread R.I. President Kalyan Bannerjee’s inspiring theme “Reach within to embrace humanity.” Discover your own self, and develop the strengths within you. Armed with these, go forth to embrace and uplift the less fortunate. Ultimately, what you leave behind at the end of ayear or at the end of a life is not what is embossed on trophies or engraved on stone monuments BUT what is woven into the lives of others.

As we embark on a new journey together, let us join hands and resolve to go the extra mile……in service and fellowship. Of course, without sacrificing domestic and professional responsibilities.

Friends, there are no limitations to what we together can do. Let us work towards a year of camaraderie and strong bonding and also extend a strong helping hand to those in need.

I urge you never to under estimate the Power of One.

One smile begins a friendship,

One handclasp lifts a soul.

One star can guide a ship at sea,

One strike can get you the winning goal!

For me, you are the ONE…………..

Yours in Rotary,

Tauby Bhagwagar

President 2011-12
