Wishing you a wonderful day, can now sense a whiff of summer in the air,

Our doctors Dr Rajesh Singhania, Dr Shaunak Mokadam, alongwith other non rotarian doctors and assistants trooped down to Hemalkasa for the Optalmic surgical camp on 23rd and 24th of this month and conducted 80 IOT surgeries on the tribal patients in the new operation theatres inaugurated only last December. I have been informed that all patients are recovering well and will soon have normal eye sight.

Another Panel discussion today and moderated by our eloquent Rotarian Rukhshad Bhagwagar. The subject is Activists feel that banning liquor sale will reduce liquor consumption. You are aware that Chandrapur will be the third district in Maharashtra which will go dry w.e.f 1st April, incidentally all three are in Vidarbha. It apparently appears that citizens of Vidarbha are a class apart, and is it all tipplers are only here ? Please do come and listen to our panelists thrash out their divergent views on this subject. You are also welcome to share your views on the subject.

As President of this prestigious club, was invited as the Chief guest for Republic Day celebrations at Shri Guru Gobind Singh educational Institute & Junior college, and it was an exhilarating experience addressing the large number of students. The school has a large number of scholarship beneficiaries and have made a fervent plea to sponsor more children, as most of them come from economically backward families.

Looking forward to meeting you this evening at MIMOSA HALL at Chitnavis centre. Please note change of hall.

Bharat Goenka
