Comedy nights with Kapil at Rotary

Diwali festival is always looked on as a festival of masti, fire crackers and lots of sumptuous food. This year’s Diwali Fellowship ensured that we gave our members a Big Dose of laughter, masti, dance and awesome food at a Grand Venue. Pumping some fresh air to the rather monotonous fellowships going on over the years, it was decided to go full on with Comedy and dances.  Director Sarang Kale with his Chairpersons Gogi Bhasin, Rajendra Jaiswal  and Sushma Hedaoo decided to enact a play on the lines of Comedy Nights with Kapil. Members were chosen wisely to fit in the role of the Characters from Kapil’s Hit show, with group of dancers, first Kids, then couples and then ladies group dance on mashup of songs. These songs have been carefully selected from the movies in which all the incoming guests have starred. Actors arrive almost at the same time starting with Salman Khan, then Shahrukh, then Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Kangna Ranaut and last but not the least Shakti Kapoor aauuuu. Shakti Kapoor has come uninvited and is desperate to join RCN. He keeps changing his appearances from MR. Gogo to Nandu from Raja Babu  and at the end he enters as Sunny Leone

Whole play was full of jokes and laughter. Every member enjoyed it and congratulated the cast and for the success of the show. Excellent compering done by the most talented Mrunalini Dasture who enchanted everyone with her superb command over hindi and Shayaris.  Every role has been brilliantly played by all the members under the supervision of  a  talented Drama Director Raunak Madne who was roped in to bring professionalism to everyone’s act. Mahendra Kamath as Kapil, Sushma Hedaoo as Manju (Kapil’s Wife), Amazingly talented Sandeep Pathak as Gutthi, Rakesh Awchat as Daadi,  Umesh Agrawal as Palak, Monica Bhagwaghar as Bua, Tushar Singhvi as Raju, Raj Shah as Salman, Rahul Chaudhary as ShahRukh, Madhvi Naidu as Alia, Sanjay Sethi as Karan Johar, Sonal Singhvi as Kangna, Sandeep Vaid as Shakti Kapoor and ofcourse,  Manjot Singh Khai as Siddhu Paaji.
