Dear Rotary Families,

Finally the mercury has plunged… and for the better. Contrary to the mercury, our Club activities have been at its peak this month! It has been a month of Fellowship at its peak, so have been our Service projects. With diverse programs and projects all month long, the strategy was simple, “horses for courses”. It was a test of the depth of talent and expertise available in our club. I can proudly say – we passed with flying colours,  churning out leadership in the form of new Rotarians and Anns, who said “we have arrived “.

Charter Night is a challenge and it was a bigger one this year, with so many weddings in our Rotary family. I applaud the team and each member of our Rotary family who put their hands up for making it a grand success despite limited “human” resource available during that period. The effort and support shall remain etched in my memory forever!

Our medicos always make us feel proud. More than 50 major surgeries in two camps, one planned and one where we reached out to the under-privileged of Melghat on SOS call. Salaam Doctors! 50 surgeries – in monetary terms is huge, in satisfaction – PRICELESS.

Arguably my memorable moment was sharing the dais with “the Legend“ Shri .Rahul Bajaj. Thanks to our program committee and yet another set of young Rotarians who made it a stupendous success, befitting the Legend.

The Membership committee and especially the Enlightenment committee has kept us on track and in line with the growth perceived by RI. All eyes are now set on our Flagship project “Hemalasa Camp“. I can assure you, our Medical and Non-Medical Committee for Hemalkasa is leaving no stone unturned for this camp.

Wishing you all a very Happy and Peaceful New Year!

Cheers!

Atul Shah
