Stop water wastage week

Question

Please refer announcement (attached to Circular August1-8th ,2011) Should we extend this to Nagpur citizens, any suggestion on how to manage then??? there are suggestions to post it in the newspaper too

It's a wonderful idea, let this idea be implemented FIRST within our members of the ROTARY CLUB OF NAGPUR, let us observe the results.

Once, we have the results + statistics, then we approach the citizens of Nagpur.

Inearly seventies a campaign was started by the name of Anti Water Waste Campaign by Nagpur Junior Jaycees, visiting house to house along with Nagpur corporation water supply dept. eng. & plumbers. A very good responce from the public was recived and millions of lts. of water was saved and awareness created. the project got international Awards as well was was recognised by Governor of Maharashtra. Some thing on similer lines can be thought of with active participation from Rotracters afilated to our club.
